Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Nearest Deal collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the Nearest Deal mobile app, website, and related services.

1. Who We Are

Nearest Deal is a local marketplace platform designed to help users discover listings, create listings, receive alerts, and connect with nearby buyers and sellers. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact our privacy team at privacy@nearestdeal.com.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following categories of information:

3. Location Information

Nearest Deal uses location-related information to show nearby listings, improve relevance, and help users create listings connected to a place. We may use your current location, approximate coordinates, selected country, and selected city. Location access can be denied or changed in your device settings, but some app features may not work properly without it.

4. How We Use Information

Depending on the country involved and the nature of the processing, we may rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, fraud prevention, security, service operation, or other lawful grounds recognized under applicable privacy law.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following limited ways:

We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling customer data for money. However, certain analytics, advertising, and platform operations may still count as sharing under some laws.

6. User Content and Public Information

Information you place into listings, profile fields, shop pages, or suggestions may become visible to other users. Please avoid including information you do not want shared publicly. We may attempt to detect and remove prohibited content, but we cannot guarantee that all content will be screened, blocked, or removed before it appears.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and maintain business and security records. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no system, platform, network, or transmission method is completely secure. You use the service and provide information at your own risk.

9. Children

Nearest Deal is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law to use the service in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided information to us in violation of applicable law, contact us and we will review the matter.

10. Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, or complaint to a relevant supervisory or consumer authority. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, and record retention requirements.

11. International Use

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live. Data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

When cross-border transfers are involved, we may use contractual, organizational, technical, or jurisdiction-specific safeguards that are reasonably appropriate under the applicable law to support lawful international data transfers.

12. Privacy Complaints, Data Rights, and Escalation

If you have a privacy concern, suspect unauthorized access or exposure of personal data, believe your account has been compromised, or want to exercise a data-protection right, contact privacy@nearestdeal.com. This is the dedicated escalation mailbox for privacy and data-rights matters.

Valid privacy requests receive an initial human response within two business days. Valid, verified requests are normally completed within 30 calendar days unless applicable law permits or requires a different period. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, locate the relevant records, protect the account, and understand your request.

When contacting us, include the email address or mobile number associated with the account, the type of request, and your country of residence. Do not send your password, OTP, complete payment-card details, Google Play purchase token, or other authentication secrets.

If local law gives you the right to complain to a regulator or consumer-protection authority, you may also do so.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

This document is a practical legal starter and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer in the jurisdictions where you operate before public launch.
